Binge watching American Crime Story and just can’t help but wonder why Cody Fern & Connie Britton were snubbed for their respective seasons?!

Well Cody Fern can be chalked up to being a complete unknown in a cast of big names. Connie Britton is chalked up to her barely being in it and having nothing of substance to work with.

I’d rather if Cody Fern had gotten in instead of Ricky Martin, who I thought ultimately had such little to do the whole season. Connie Britton, imo, gave a fun take on Faye Resnick, especially in episode 1.4 and made a meal of whatever little that was required of her.

ReplyCopy URLDecember 1, 2020 at 6:57 am #1203886703Saved By the Bell reboot. The first episodes are not great because they reference the old show (which I never watched), but by episode 5 the show gets pretty good.

The adult cast is predictably awful, but Josie Totah is a highlight. Her character has big Jenna Maroney vibes and I enjoy that. She would be a deserving Comedy Supporting Actress nom.December 1, 2020 at 10:21 am #1203887282when you watch TV shows, Movies or anything for a long time non-stop. This can be a sign of depression so If you have a family member or friend who binge watches, why don’t you ask them to do an activity with you. Something that might lift their mood. Binge-Watching is probably always caused by boredom. In some situations, it could be because you want to fit in. I also like watching this series of movies, but because they are long and the characters are repetitive, sometimes they are disgusting.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 8, 2020 at 10:45 am #1203903519“First Ladies” (CNN): Fascinating docuseries of six highly influential American first ladies and how they used their tenures to redefine what the role meant for future generations. The six women featured were Michelle Obama, Jackie Kennedy, Nancy Reagan, Eleanor Roosevelt, Lady Bird Johnson, and Hillary Clinton. All were insightful in their own ways, but most of them were too short for an ad-supported hour runtime. (The Michelle Obama one was the season premiere and ran longer.) There was no way to cover all of these women’s lives in one hour, and in some cases, entire documentaries have been made of these women either as full birth-to-death narratives or only during the White House years. Robin Wright narrated these episodes beautifully. Hopefully she will be a frontrunner for the Narrator Emmy next year.
I’ve taped the Showtime docuseries “The Reagans,” so I might delve into that next.

Still, Laurie makes it more bearable to go through the four episodes.

I watched it. It was boring. I finished Bc of cast but felt like a half asses idea that needed more development

– The Mandalorian (S2)
– The Crown (S4)
– The Act
– I May Destroy YouJanuary 3, 2021 at 9:32 pm #1203960821Watched the Mandalorian S1. Wasn’t that enthused for first 5 episodes, but the final three were all really thrilling. Definitely not my favorite show, but still effective at what it does for sure. Interested to see the second season, but going to hold off for a bit and catch up on films first.
