I feel like “The Walking Dead” and “Game of Thrones” could fill this entire thread. Those shows kill off tons of characters, and for me they tend to vary wildly between powerful-story-driven deaths and frustrating-screw-with-the-audience deaths.

From this TV season, Alison’s death in Homeland was so predictable and rushed for such a great villain, same could be said for Roose Bolton in GOT.

I’m curious what you thought would be in this thread, if not spoilers.

Honestly, Susan Ross on Seinfeld. They missed loads of comedic potential for having George married throughout the rest of the series. I know that the actors didn’t like each other, but hey Duchovny and Anderson don’t like each other and 10 Seasons of X-Files. Just saying.

Grey’s Anatomy could easily fill this thread, but I’m going to stick with one only and say George O’Malley and Lexie Grey. The way in which George was killed was just disrespectful and cruel to both the actor and the audience.
