For me, it’s lead actor in a drama series. I’m predicting McConaughey but I would be ecstatic if Cranston won.August 22, 2014 at 10:48 pm #328296
Same. Actually, I’ve got a few.
Expecting Modern Family to repeat, but I’d love it if Veep pulled out the win, with Orange is the New Black right behind.
Adam Driver is in my sixth place position, but he’s easily my favorite of the nominees.
Kate Mulgrew would be great. Janney is my prediction.
I’ve got Margulies in my #1 position, and would love it if she won, but I’ve been a fan of Caplan for a while, and it would be delightful to see her take this.
Josh Charles would probably fit this, but I decided to throw caution in the wind and predict him anyway.
I’m getting steadily convinced to switch my Drama Writing pick to “Felina”, but “Ozymandias” obviously stands tall.
Martin Freeman actually winnning over Mark Ruffalo.
Tolman taking it from Julia.

Kate Mulgrew or Anna Chlumsky winning instead of Janney
Amy Poehler winning instead of JLD (Even though I love JLD and I think Veep is the funniest show on TV it is time to give Poehler an Emmy!)
Matt LeBlanc winning instead of Ricky Gervias (Even though I love Gervais)
Special Relationship winning instead of the Louie episode (I forgot the name)
Give Paul Thomas Anderson an Oscar.August 23, 2014 at 1:52 am #328298
Drama Actress. I’m predicting Wright, but I will still be thrilled if Margulies or even Danes win again.August 23, 2014 at 5:57 am #328299
Duh — Bryan Cranston!August 23, 2014 at 8:37 am #328300
Many of the ones said here, but I’m just predicting Cranston, Margulies and Charles out of hope. But if Martin Freeman won in either field I would be very happy. And if Tolman beat Roberts.

Predicting Mark Ruffalo but I would rather have any of the other nominees win. Wasn’t a big fan of Ruffalo and thought he was kind of a weak link.August 23, 2014 at 10:51 am #328302
Three for me:
1. Kate Mulgrew wins over Allison Janney for Supp. Actress.
2. “Ozymandias” wins over “Felina” for Writing.
3. Orange is the New Black or Veep wins over Modern Family for Series.August 23, 2014 at 11:10 am #328303
I think I speak for many when I say I hope to be dead wrong about McConaughey. I would bet my house on a win for him but I really hope it is Bryan Cranston. I know Cranston already has 3 Emmys for this role but a proper send off for one of the greatest TV characters of all time would be quite fitting.August 23, 2014 at 11:15 am #328304
McConaughey ( I just want Cranston to win with Ozy) and The Normal Hear in writing (go Fargo!)
I know it’s risky, but I’m not sure in Murphy in directing, but if one of the Fargo episode should win it’s the Buridan (snow chasing!), not the pilot.August 23, 2014 at 11:19 am #328305
I’d be happy to be wrong about Claire Danes and have it go to almost anyone else (minus Washington).August 23, 2014 at 7:42 pm #328306
Comedy Lead Actor: Don Cheadle
Comedy Lead Actress: Amy Poehler
Drama Series: Game of Thrones (I love BB but if it had to sit out, this would be my alternative)
Drama Lead Actor: Bryan Cranston
Drama Lead Actress: Kerry WashingtonAugust 23, 2014 at 11:01 pm #328307
Mark Ruffalo. It should go to Billy Bob Thornton.August 23, 2014 at 11:08 pm #328308
Would love to be wrong about Allison Janney, Anna Gunn, and Cicely Tyson. Would love it to go intstead to Kate Mulgrew, Joanne Frogatt, and Minnie Driver instead.
I’m predicting Lizzy Caplan but I know Danes or Marguiles will likely win so I might as well predict them and add it to my list of Hope I’m wrong lol.
