Newhart still holds up after all these years. And I defer to TWitter user Alex Goldschmidt for saying the following better than I ever could

“The Good Place finale is a master class in TV. The perfect ending to every story. The perfect mix of laughter and tears. The perfect commentary on life.

“People are going to be rewatching, quoting and learning from this show forever. It knew exactly how and when to say goodbye.”

Top three for me are The Shield, Six Feet Under and The Americans. There are other shows that rank highly too but those three are just incredible.

Six Feet Under. It’s the only time where the finale made the entire series better and more exciting on a rewatch.

For me, HTGAWM delivered the single most satisfying, fitting, well-thought-through, emotional series finales I have ever seen. It boasted clear understanding of its characters. I cried a lot — and I rarely, if ever, cry.

Oscar FYC -- Give Viola Davis her second Oscar!

One of my favorites: Fringe. I recently rewatched the entire series and it’s just a beautiful, complex and creative show with a rich mythology. The final season is just amazing and the series finale is great.

Any answer other than Six Feet Under is wrong. And thank god most people here agree so.

Never cried so with any tv show or movie ever.
