I’m gonna go with the other FNL supporting performance… Zach Gilford. Seasons one and four were pure perfection.

That’s not a great selection to choose from. Chris Noth, really?

It’s just surprising that Chris Noth hasn’t been able to break through with any of his roles (Law & Order, Sex and the City, The Good Wife).

Actually, for a series they nominated for more than a decade in the top category, the Emmys were pretty apathetic about the original Law & Order‘s actors. I believe Elaine Stritch was the series’ sole acting winner (in Outstanding Guest Actress).

Carroll O’Connor won for In the Heat of the Night; not sure why he’s up there.

Of the list, I would say Jason Lee in a walk.

No Dominic West or Michael K. Williams? Why?

I don’t like this selection. I picked Michael B Jordan, but I’m not quite sure if he was ever stronger than anyone in the top 6 (esp. this year).

um, wasn’t Anthony LaPagilia actually nominated for his work on “Without A Trace”, I believe in 2004?    I believe he lost to James Spader.

in fact he was a double nominee that year, he got nominated for Guest Actor for his work on “Frasier”.

Way better list.  I picked Williams too but I am not sure I believe most, if any of them were snubs.

What the hell is Chris Noth doing on that list??! He was/is rightfully snubbed for all of his work.
Of that list I’d pick Jason Lee. It still puzzles me how he was snubbed in favor of Charlie Shee and Kevin James… Even Giovanni Ribisi got nominated for Earl, but not Earl himself. that’s just odd…

Kevin James nomination came in the panelist year I think which was super weird all around.
