    Ah. Barry it is then.

Atlanta winning was already a stretch. If they were gonna do it, it probably would’ve been for season 2 when Donald Glover basically ruled the world.

And when its ensemble was already getting movie deals left right and centre.

FYC OSCARS : VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", GLENN CLOSE FOR "HILLBILLY ELEGY", ANTHONY HOPKINS FOR "THE FATHER", CHADWICK BOSEMAN FOR "MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM", PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN (BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY).

Obviously a lot is going to depend on who makes the cut and releases their season in time, but “WWDITS” seems the likeliest bet. I think each show has room to grow (“Dead to Me” and “Insecure” getting into Writing/Directing, “Ramy” getting into Series, “WWDITS” and “The Great” getting into Acting and Series) and based on what comes back and how many shows are in the field, including returning shows and shows that skipped this season, that may or may not be possible.

I have not seen and I don’t think it will win but I’m keeping an eye on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist in terms receiving nominations. Broadcast network comedies are yet to dropped and this might just be it. Or maybe Tina Fey returns with her new project?

Yes but point being if it couldn’t win then how can it win now?

I mean Donald Glover missing at SAG despite his show being more popular than some of the biggest Dramas in the world and him being a bigger and more film starry name than someone like Tony Shalhoub tells me how unlikely it is that this show wins Series again unless it’s in a field where there is no big challenger (no Maisel or Barry or no show doing a Schitt’s Creek or a Fleabag).
