We are getting closer and closet to Emmy season and we’ve already seen 2021 Emmy contenders pop up over the past few weeks like Wandavision and It’s a Sin but which Spring contenders that are still unseen are you the most excited to see?

    Comment below with your picks.

I am most excited to see Inventing Anna. I was quite taken by Anna Chlumsky and Julia Garner’s work in Veep and Ozark and it seems like it might be an interesting character study.

FYC OSCARS : PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN IN ALL CATEGORIES (ESP. ACTRESS – Carey Mulligan AND ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY — EMERALD FENNELL), VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", ESSIE DAVIS FOR "BABYTEETH"

I wonder when will Amazon announce the date of The Underground Railroad. Barry Jenkins has released multiple teasers on his Vimeo which were all amazing.

    Inventing Anna.

I wonder if this mini serie will have « The queens gambit » buzz and can help Julia Garner to be an household name worldwide.

I’m a huge Melissa McCarthy fan, so I’m very excited for NPS.

Also looking forward to Kate Winslet in Mare of Easttown

    “Scenes from a Marriage”

Haha this thread was made before HBO announced it was making Emmy eligibility but yes I am absolutely excited to see this one too! The source material is so rich and Chastain and Isaac are some of the most talented actors of their generation.

They said it’s airing in 2021, not specifically before June. Considering they already announced the dates of Mare of Easttown and In Treatment at TCA. I don’t expect additional HBO shows to air before June.

Considering it was in the first half of their teaser with lots off footage I assume it’s coming in May.
