Many thanks to OperaJunky for suggesting this great forum thread topic. Now who’s got some juicy, jaw-dropping suggestions …?May 23, 2016 at 11:05 pm #1201840419
Assuming this is a good WTF like “yay Tatiana Maslany got nominated after all these years” and not one that leaves a sour taste in mouth like “who does Keagan Michael-Kay support in a two men show??” I am gonna go with Eva Green.May 23, 2016 at 11:14 pm #1201840420
Anna Faris.May 24, 2016 at 1:06 am #1201840424
I agree with the mention of Anna Faris. My choice however is Melissa McBride.May 24, 2016 at 2:52 am #1201840460

Martha Plimpton – The Real ONeals
Haven’t seen a single frame of this show and honestly probably never will but I am strangely confident that she will be a nominee this year despite lack of buzz, viewers, or an outpouring of critical love.
Normally I tend to analyze more carefully but this is a total gut pick.May 24, 2016 at 2:24 pm #1201840693
I wonder if ‘Catastrophe’ and the two leads can break into the comedy categories.May 24, 2016 at 8:16 pm #1201840775
I think the nomination that would rock us to the core would be Lady Gaga in American Horror Story nabbing a nod for Lead Actress in a Movie or Miniseries over the heavily touted contenders.May 24, 2016 at 8:49 pm #1201840777
Expect such nomination in Guest Actor Drama since that category is really wide open.

That would be the best thing ever. I’d especially love to see the reactions if she does get nominated and Audra McDonald does not. Woo Lord that would make a great 2-3 weeks discussion.May 25, 2016 at 1:23 am #1201840838
Jon Hamm gets nominated for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for his nothing performance in Season 2 solely because of name recognition, IF he gets submitted.
Also Constance Wu? People were mad about her snub last year, so maybe if it was possible for perpetually-snubbed Tatiana Maslany to get a nomination, the new popular voting system could work to Wu’s benefit.
