    Nominations:

    – Sophie Turner for GoT (Season 6)
    – Winona Ryder for ST (Season 1)
    – Mandy Patinkin for Homeland (Season 4)
    – Rupert Friend for Homeland (Season 6)
    – Yvonne Strahovski for THT (Season 1)
    – Kathy Bates for AHS (Season 6)
    – Freddie Highmore for Bates Motel (Seasons 1-5)
    – Vera Farmiga for Bates Motel (Seasons 2-5)
    – Madeleine Stowe for Revenge (Season 1)
-Miranda Otto for Homeland (Season 5)
    – Constance Zimmer for UnREAL (Season 2)

    Wins:
    – Lena Headey for GoT (Season 5+6)
    – Peter Dinklage for GoT (Season 4)
    – Sarah Paulson for AHS (Season 2+4)
    – Jessica Lange for AHS (Season 2)
    – Christine Baranski for the Good Wife (Season 5)

And I see so many more coming this year. I am almost 100% sure Viola will be snubbed in lead actress for someone like Emilia Clarke (who I really like too, but Viola is SO much better), even though Viola had her strongest season yet on HTGAWM IMO.

I really wanted to add her but then I remembered that Ann Dowd won and she was also absolutely fantastic. But yeah, I 100% agree

So many from the last few years alone but I’ll do the ones others probably won’t mention (those that should have won in bold):

    -Caitriona Balfe (Outlander)
    -Fleabag in all categories
-AHS: Roanoke supporting actresses (Paulson should have won)
    Mom
-Kerry Washington (Scandal – Season 4)
    -Joey Pollari (American Crime)
    -Schitt’s Creek
-Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey – Season 6)
-Lea Michele (Glee Final Season and Scream Queens)
    -Jane Lynch (Glee Final Season)
    -Sense8
-The Comeback (Kudrow should have won)
    Happy Valley in all categories

Desi Arnaz on I Love Lucy remains the most egregious of all Emmy snubs.

It’s definitely one of my favorite tv performances.

I’m confused. Doesn’t ‘snub’ mean not getting nominated? When u don’t win it’s called ‘rigged’, am I wrong?

Edie Falco and James Gandolfini for season 6A of The Sopranos. Stupid blue ribbon panel. Arguably the show’s weakest season but one of the strongest seasons for their individual characters and performances. It’s especially a shame considering what they were snubbed for.

OMG I totally forgot the Normal Heart!!! The entire cast was snubbed. Not a single person won.

The idea that The Simpsons lost to The Penguins of Madagascar for “Holidays of Future Passed”, one of their best episodes, especially in recent history, is beyond disgusting.

Also American Idol is one of the most influential shows this millennium and yet it never won for Reality-Competition Series. Kinda shocking if you think about it.

FYC: Ready Player One. Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, Visual Effects, Original Score, Production Design, Director and BEST PICTURE (make it happen Oscars!!)

Sarah Michelle Gellar “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”

    John Noble “Fringe”

    Michael McKean “Better Call Saul”

Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, and Richard Armitage “Hannibal”

    Ray Wise “Twin Peaks”

    Vincent D’Onofrio “Marvel’s Daredevil”

Krysten Ritter and David Tennant “Jessica Jones”

    Mahershala Ali “Marvel’s Luke Cage”

Even though I used to love Adventure Time, I don’t think any cast member has ever been win-worthy except for Tom Kenny as The Ice King, who actually did win an Annie Award for that performance, so its not like he’s been snubbed everywhere. Olivia Olsen as Marceline deserved to be nominated at least once, and I’m still hoping she or Kenny get an Emmy nod for the show with great material before it ends, regardless of the shows overall quality.

John Krasinski as Jim Halpert in “The Office” never getting nominated still stings.

Nikolai Coster-Waldau (so far), Jack Gleeson, Alfie Allen, and Sean Bean. I also think Gwendoline Christie and even Natalie Dormer has been Emmy nomination-worthy, though never quite Emmy win-worthy.

Rose McIver and David Anders (the latter mostly for the first season) “IZombie”

The entire main cast of Futurama, specifically Katey Sagel as Leela, Billy West as Fry, and John DiMaggio as Bender who had multiple win-worthy episodes. Dimaggio in “Godfellas” and Sagel in “The Sting” come to mind instantly. The fact that Maurice LaMarche was the only actor from the show to ever get nominated and win on both of his nods will always confuse me. I mean, he was funny as Lrrr, but not win-worthy and certainly not multiple win / repeat win worthy!

Literally the entire voice-over ensemble cast of Steven Universe, though specifically Deedee Magno Hall as Pearl, Michaela Dietz as Amethyst, Zach Callison as Steven Universe, Shelby Rabara as Peridot, and even Uzo Aduba in a powerful guest performance as Bismuth stand out because they all have episodes I can clearly point to and say, “that should have been their Emmy submission. That was their moment.” Even though Garnet used to be my favorite character and still remains one of my favorites, I can’t point to any single episode that is a truly Emmy-worthy showcase for Estelle’s voice-over talents. Same with Tom Scharpling as Greg, even though he like Estelle has given several excellent performances in many episodes throughout the shows history.

Seth MacFarlane, Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes, and Rachael MacFarlane for American Dad! MacFarlane’s repeat wins the past 2 years for his Family Guy work only piss me off. He has so much range as a voice-over actor, that I hate how he keeps getting nominated seemingly as a name-check by this point and even won for the past couple consecutive years, yet he’s never been nominated once for his phenomenal and iconic work on his other show.

I haven’t actually seen the Hannibal, Twin Peaks, and Fringe performances, but I’ve heard enough universal praise to feel confident about singling out those specific actors’ Emmy snubs. I’ve only seen a couple Buffy episodes including the series finale, but I think it is obvious how her snub is frequently referred to as the “Citizen Kane” of Emmy acting snubs. Even if people aren’t calling it exactly that, that’s what it always seems like to me.

Note to myself: Don’t ever feed the trolls. Don’t get involved in others drama. Don’t let myself be swayed by others predictions, trust my gut more often!

Note to all others: If you don’t happen to like me, ignore me. It is that simple.
