Like the last few years, I will aggregate scores at the top of each page.

Breaking Bad is going to win this year in a cakewalk.  My guess is that Modern Family, Game of Thrones, Parks and Recreation and Homeland round out the top five with Louie, The Good Wife, Friday Night Lights, Justified and Community in the top ten.

Anyone else want to take a guess as to the final rankings?

That’s not my personal list. It’s my predictions for the overall critic aggregation list.

Ah ha!  How close is it to yours though, really?

I don’t watch Homeland, Justified or The Good Wife (beyond Emmy submission tapes) so I’d probs replace those. Parks and Rec would be at #1 and Community would be at #3 behind Breaking Bad at #2.

Yeah, I figured as much.  How do you not watch Justified?

I’m like an Emmy voter…I tend to like snobby shows better (Modern Family, Parks and Rec)

Liking Modern Family isn’t snobby at this point, it is just lazy.

I’m not in gooey love with it like the Emmy voters themselves. I just like watching it.

I think it’s a bit early for critics to do these lists. Homeland and Boardwalk Empire (which should both make a lot of top ten lists) still have a few episodes to air, and both could conceivably do great and terrible things in their last few installments. But it seems everyone wants to be the first one to tell people what they like.

Both of those shows should think about that next time they schedule their air dates then.  It is always this way.  Dec. 1st critics list begin.  Not all but they always start.

^ No shit. I just don’t see the need to rush out top ten lists when viable shows only have a couple of episodes to air, and if it was Breaking Bad and they were being penalized because their entire season hadn’t aired, then you’d have an issue. Most film critics don’t release their top tens until the last week of December or until. TV critics don’t have to be in such a rush.
