As the title suggests. Here are the rules :

    – You can only choose performances that were snubbed for the nomination that should have won or those that never won. You can’t choose both in one list but you can do two separate lists (as I will do).

    – You cannot choose more than one performance from the same show.

I’ll start with those that should have won but were snubbed during the nominations stage :

LEAD ACTOR IN A DRAMA SERIES

    David Tennant, Doctor Who

    DRAMA LEAD ACTRESS

Sarah Michelle Gellar, Buffy the Vampire Slayer

    DRAMA SUPPORTING ACTOR

    Jared Harris, The Crown

    DRAMA SUPPORTING ACTRESS

    Jodie Whittaker, Broadchurch

    DRAMA GUEST ACTRESS

Melinda Page Hamilton, Mad Men (Special Mention : Leslie Uggams, Empire)

    DRAMA GUEST ACTOR

    Glenn Quinn, Angel

    COMEDY LEAD ACTRESS

    Wendi Mclendon-Covey, The Goldbergs

    COMEDY LEAD ACTOR

    Ben Platt, The Politician

    COMEDY S. ACTRESS

    Naya Rivera, Glee

    COMEDY S. ACTOR

    Andrew Scott, Fleabag

    COMEDY G. ACTOR

    Laurence Fishburne, Black-ish

    COMEDY G. ACTRESS

Justine Lupe, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (ok I know this one is kind of cheating considering how she wasn’t even submitted by Amazon?!?!?!?)

    COMEDY G. ACTOR

    David Schwimmer, 30 Rock

    LIMITED/MOVIE ACTOR

    Russell Tovey, Years and Years

    LIMITED/MOVIE ACTRESS

    Hayley Atwell, Howards End

    LIMITED/MOVIE S. ACTOR

    Justin Theroux, Maniac

FYC OSCARS : VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", GLENN CLOSE FOR "HILLBILLY ELEGY", ANTHONY HOPKINS FOR "THE FATHER", CHADWICK BOSEMAN FOR "MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM", PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN (BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY).

The fact that Carie Coon never got nominated for The Leftovers is a crime.

Broadchurch and AHS were treated as Limited Series for those particular seasons.

Broadchurch was not submitted for the Primetime Emmys for its first season. It was however treated as a Mini-Series by Gold Derby members, as it was nominated in three categories for the Gold Derby TV Awards. I literally went through the whole list to make sure I don’t make any mistakes.

Downton Abbey won Mini-Series for its first season, so my mention is for that obviously.
