Given that this is a fan-voted award, which show do you think will rack up the most nominations?

Some of these are better than the actual Tony nominations (but then you have Parisian Woman/1984’s noms).

Which of these do you think are better than the Tony nominations?

Alex Newell “Once on This Island” and Lili Cooper “Spongebob” are the biggest ones though they did snub James McArdle again! Tisk tisk.

And I love all of there superlative categories! I’ve always wanted a Replacement Tony but understand the logistics of that not working out. They could always have that as a special panel that is dedicated to seeing replacements but it probably will never happen. I also love them having a Best New Song category.

When it was tried back in 2005, the award for performance in a recreated role was to be selected by the Tony Administration Committee. However, no actor received the required number of votes to win and the award category was abandoned with no winner ever having been named.

Uma Thurman as Favorite Leading Actress in a Play is, in a nutshell, the reason these “awards” are utterly without value.

I’m sure a lot of those voted were probably millennials.

I’m a Millennial, so that can be right as Mean Girls was big for a lot of teens during my time. This also seems like this was voted by tons of people from Generation Z. I shouldn’t be judgmental though.
