I loved the production of Moulin Rouge. I saw it in Boston when it was here. It has some kinks to work out but it has a lot of potential. Even people that never saw the movie loved the musical production.November 19, 2018 at 8:50 am #1202678134
What about those who did not like the film? What did they think of the stage adaptation?November 19, 2018 at 10:15 am #1202678175
Hope you don’t get too bad a migraine Jeffrey, lol.November 19, 2018 at 10:16 am #1202678176
Trust me, I’m trying to stay away from it as much as I can.November 19, 2018 at 1:21 pm #1202678299
At this point, no petition is going to prevent it from coming to Broadway.November 19, 2018 at 1:51 pm #1202678311
I’ve already been forced to close the petition, so it doesn’t matter now. Though here’s an early prediction I’m already making:
The overall success of Moulin Rouge! will probably be similar to An American in Paris. It’ll likely start out grossing over $1,000,000 a week, though probably won’t do well in the long run. It also probably won’t win any Tony Awards in above-the-line categories.
