What do you think of the nominations? Who is ahead to win and who was cruelly snubbed?

I am furious. I removed Janet McTeer earlier today. And I put To Kill A Mockingbird into my predictions. Meh.

Be More Chill slapped down in favor of Beetlejuice.

    Snubbing Glenda Jackson? Wow. Ballsy.

Glenda Jackson is an amazing actress to be sure. But the overwhelmingly negative reviews of the show doomed her.

Stephanie J. Block for Cher was expected but The Cher Show was one of the worst productions on Broadway. I would have preferred Rebecca Naomi Jones (Oklahoma)

The Ferryman is easily the best play of 2019. Better than the snubbed Mockingbird and the overhyped Network. The big surprise here is Gary. Terrible reviews across the board.

Best Play Revival snub of True West is surprising.

“Be More Chill” is now toast – only one nod and it has been drawing poor crowds with 50% off tickets available for every performance. They needed a strong showing to stay alive.

I enjoyed it a lot, despite being far older than the target audience.

My Musical Actor predictions were 100% right. I’m surprised at the lack of love Kiss Me, Kate got–I thought for sure Bleu was gonna be a sure nominee.

See my post below; I predict the show will close in the not distant future.

The show got terrible reviews. Of course, so did Cher and Gary, so who knows!

Thrilled for “hadestown” and the surprising nominations for “Gary”

    Shocked to not see:
“to kill a mockingbird” and “network” for best play

Glenda Jackson for actress in a play

Patrick valli for featured actor in a musical

The big surprise here is Gary. Terrible reviews across the board.

Gary was a Critic’s Pick in the NY Times and got several other positive notices as well.
