Not so fast on featured actress. Amber Gray won the OCC. She was ineligible for the Drama Desks since she was eligible for the last production.

Refresh my memory: was Amber Gray nominated last year for the Drama Desk award?

I don’t recall but off-Broadway typically don’t win over broadway ones in the acting categories. Steven Skybell in leading would be the exception not the rule (and he won only the OCC). In an odd twist Amber was eligible for both Hadestown and Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet in the same season and I suspect she canceled herself out.

Amber wasn’t eligible for the Drama Desks so we’ll never know what would’ve happened. Hadestown was ineligible for musical so again we don’t know.
