Now it’s been confirmed that actor Nick Cordero has died at the age of 41.
After having made his New York stage debut Off-Broadway in a stage musical adaptation of The Toxic Avenger, Nick Cordero went on to make his Broadway debut in 2012 when he joined the cast of Rock of Ages as Dennis Dupree (which he had previously played on tour). In 2014, he caught the attention of everyone in the industry with his Tony nominated performance as Cheech in the stage musical adaptation of the 1994 Woody Allen film, Bullets Over Broadway. Nick then went on to originate the roles of Earl in Waitress and Sonny (another character that was previously portrayed on screen by Chazz Palminteri) in A Bronx Tale. My condolences go out to his wife, Amanda Klootz (who happens to be a fellow Northeast Ohioan like me), and infant son, Elvis.July 5, 2020 at 6:38 pm #1203569498

I’ve been following Nick’s condition online via his wife’s Instagram. It shows we all have to be careful at this crazy time.

Acting legend Olivia de Havilland has died at the age of 104.
While she was best remembered as a two-time Oscar-winning actress for her work on the big screen, she also actually appeared on Broadway three times. Olivia made her debut starring as Juliet in a 1951 revival of William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. She then went on to star as the title character in a revival of George Bernard Shaw’s Candida, and returned in 1962 to star opposite Henry Fonda and Marian Seldes in A Gift of Time.
