The Metropolitan Opera is set to premiere an opera adaptation of the Oscar-winning film The Hours in 2022, with a trio of amazing sopranos to take on the three main characters. Renee Fleming will play Clarissa (originally played by Meryl Streep), Kelli O’Hara will play Laura (originally played by Julianne Moore), and Joyce DiDonato will play Virginia Woolf (originally played by Nicole Kidman). https://www.playbill.com/article/renee-fleming-kelli-ohara-joyce-didonato-attached-to-opera-adaptation-of-the-hours
