How come it’s not listed here yet? Also The Piano Lesson opens October 13.August 11, 2022 at 7:32 am #1205042053August 12, 2022 at 9:00 pm #1205043936
I don’t know if ALW’s Cinderella is coming to Broadway, but I guess it could take the Broadway Theatre, where the R&H Cinderella ran. Of course ALW has to compete with that and the Disney version. Speaking of fairytales, I hope Into the Woods gets at least a nod for the Best Musical Revival Tony, as well as an acting nod for Julia Lester.August 13, 2022 at 6:58 am #1205044148
I’ve seen people in the BroadwayWorld message boards suggest Back to the Future (which likely isn’t coming until next summer) should go to The Broadway Theatre.August 16, 2022 at 8:43 am #1205047375
Have any of you seen Romeo and Bernadette? I thought it would come to Broadway. At least we’re getting & Juliet, which also shows half of the star-crossed pair in modern times. Perhaps we should give a comparison.August 17, 2022 at 1:47 pm #1205048783
This year’s Tony-winning revival of Take Me Out will play a return engagement at Broadway’s Gerard Schoenfeld Theatre for 14 weeks beginning on October 27th. Jesse Williams and Jesse Tyler Ferguson are both set to reprise their roles from the Second Stage run from this past spring.

I mentioned in these forums before rumors of a Sweeney Todd revival starring Josh Groban & Annaleigh Ashford directed by Thomas Kail coming to Broadway. It’s now reportedly going to open in the spring.August 23, 2022 at 6:36 pm #1205053291
I think Groban would make a great Sweeney. I was first afraid they would cast Jake Gyllenhaal, who had been in Sunday in the Park with Annaleigh, and from what I’ve heard about him I wouldn’t want him cast in a Broadway show.August 25, 2022 at 6:26 am #1205054441
