So what about the new Some Like it Hot? I think we might want to hold off on the cross-dressing stories for a while, also wasn’t it done before with Sugar?
Right now for new musicals we can expect Black Orpheus, Cinderella, Kimberly Akimbo and Some Like it Hot.

ReplyCopy URLMarch 2, 2022 at 9:00 am #1204827781I’d like to see KPOP on Broadway. Maybe it can play the Imperial or the Broadway when Little Prince moves out. I’m okay with the Cort being renamed after one of the all-time great actors.

It obviously has a new lead producer now since this was one of many projects Scott Rudin ended up stepping away from after he was exposed of abuse in the workplace.

ReplyCopy URLMarch 29, 2022 at 7:02 am #1204887721I suppose Camelot could use a new book, preferably one that isn’t so plodding. So now we have at least three contenders for Best Revival of a Musical, including 1776 and Dancin’.

So far we have three new musicals: Kimberly Akimbo, KPOP and Sing Street, all of which began Off-Broadway.
