Producers Ken Davenport and Bob Gaudio (who was one of the original Four Seasons depicted in Jersey Boys) have announced today that a new biographical musical telling the incredible life story of legendary singer-songwriter Neil Diamond is currently in the works for Broadway. Tony winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening) will direct with a book by three-time Academy Award nominee Anthony McCarten, who has written three films (The Theory of Everything, Darkest Hour, and Bohemian Rhapsody) that won an Oscar for Best Actor.
