My first entry isn’t going to be from a musical, but from the play Lettice and Lovage. Maggie Smith is sensational here while you see why Margaret Tyzack won a Tony as well.

It’s too hard for me to say what is the best, but I easily know what is the worst: Hairspray live at sea on a cruise ship in 2013. The epitome of totally unnecessary performance that takes away from the presentation of more crafts categories on the air.
