Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic detective character is set to receive a brand new stage adaptation. It is being written by Rachel Wagstaff & Duncan Abel. The production will be directed by Rob Ashford with choreography by Akram Khan. The play is set to debut in London’s West End before eventually making it to Broadway. No casting nor timeline has been revealed yet.

I first became aware of him many years ago through mutual friends at one of the local community theatres in my area of residence at the time, Northeast Ohio. I was even able to interview Tony back in 2017, where he told me about the then-status of this play.
