Of the eleven new musicals coming to Broadway this season, I predict the four Best Musical nominees will be:

    Be More Chill
    Hadestown
    Head Over Heels
    The Prom

And I’d wager that Be More Chill will win.

You forgot Tootsie. That’s been getting rave reviews in Chicago, and those kinds of reviews could help it win across the board.

BMC has not been getting great reviews at all; I’d say Hadestown is gonna win Best Musical

I think Hadestown may be the only one of these nominated. Definitely not Head Over Heels and its awful reviews.

While I could see Tootsie being a strong contender, it’ll still have to overcome the industry’s bias against commodity musicals.

Beetlejuice is a totally unknown quantity as well. It starts performances in DC in a couple of days, so I’m anxious to hear reports. It has a great cast and a risk-taking director, who had what now appears to be the good fortune to be fired from Frozen, which turned out to be a muddled mess. The writers of the piece are a question mark. I can see a scenario in which this turns out to be the surprise blockbuster of the season.

Word is Moulin Rouge! won’t be opening until next summer, which means it will have to wait until the 2020 Tonys.

Since The Secret Garden and Girl from the North Country aren’t coming to the Main Stem this season, the Leading Actor in a Musical category would include Brooks Ashmanskas in The Prom and Andy Karl in Pretty Woman.  For Leading Actress in a Musical: Caitlin Kinnunen in The Prom and Samantha Barks in Pretty Woman.  For Best Featured Actress: Bonnie Milligan in Head Over Heels, Ali Stroker in Oklahoma! and Angie Schworner in The Prom.

I still think The Prom could win, as it deals with LGBT inclusion like Head Over Heels did and high school struggles like Be More Chill.  With its traditional show tunes it could easily win Best Score.

What will not get nominated is Gettin’ the Band Back Together.  Though Sawyer Nunes might get a Best Supporting Actor nod.

Pretty Woman did not get very good reviews from critics, so I don’t see that being much of a contender at all. Though Samantha Barks could be a dark horse candidate for a Lead Actress nomination. American Son received a pretty mixed reception, so I’m not sure how it could possibly do in nominations.

Elaine May is likely to win Lead Actress in a Play and you’ve left her off entirely.

Be More Chill is not getting three acting noms. Salazar is the only possibility.

    I’ve updated my picks:

    Best Musical
    Be More Chill
    Hadestown
    The Prom
    Tootsie

    Best Book
    Be More Chill
    Hadestown

    Head Over Heels
    The Prom

    Best Score
    Be More Chill
    Beetlejuice
    Hadestown
    The Prom

I’ve changed my mind about Be More Chill, I don’t think it will win Best Musical.  But I think it will win Best Book, and The Prom will win for Best Score and Musical.
