No broadcast network series made the cut:

Dickinson, Good Omens and Stranger Things seem like easy cuts; David Makes Man and Our Boys feel a little under the radar. The nominees that did not advance last year were Atypical, The Chi, Homecoming, My Brilliant Friend and This Close.

ReplyCopy URLFYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.
May 6, 2020 at 11:22 am #1203467095I reckon that this will make Damon Lindelof (Watchmen, The Leftovers, Lost) the only other than David Simon (Treme, The Wire, The Corner) to win for three shows on which he was showrunner. Simon is the king though, given how instrumental he was to Homicide, which is the only three-time winner. This is a perfect record for Lindelof though, given that he has only run three shows; Simon is batting .500 (The Deuce, Show Me a Hero, Generation Kill).

There are many people who have really liked the third season.

I know it’s popular, I’m baffled at it getting a Peabody nomination for its third season.
