The Peabodys were feeling generous this year.  Only Float, Good Omens and Our Boys did not advance.  Is this the highest ratio ever?  I guess that they wanted to take care of Stranger Things once during its run.  I daresay that they have never awarded a show as poorly-received as Dickinson before.  That acceptance by Lindelof was so corny that I chuckled when he closed with “god bless”, but I suppose that it is campaign season and it is cool that he made an acceptance video at all.

Thrilled for “Succession,” “Fleabag,” “Watchmen,” “Hale County…,” & “When They See Us”! Definitely feels like an “You get a car! You get a car! You get a car!!!” sort of year, but that’s perfectly fine for me to widen the tent and acknowledge quality television when it’s obvious.
