Of course it’s The Sun that report that >:(

I think Jodie and Emerald are above a project like this especially when they’ve got other stuff lined up at the moment.

The fact the main thing played out online makes a TV show about it all feel slightly redundant.

It’s not that gripping to be a series or even single drama.

Agreed on Comer & Fennell being above it all as well. If it were to ever happen it would be on a lesser watched Sky channel with actresses people haven’t heard of and it would be VERY over dramatic.

There’s no point adapting something like this if you’re not going to make it campy and overly melodramatic.

Here for it. A marriage story being the BBC’s autumn Sunday night showcase drama is a nice change of pace from the procedural thrillers of the past few years.

Walker and Bean are such strong performers I’m really excited to see what they cook up together. This could be very good.

I wonder if this will be what finally brings Walker back to the BAFTAs and give her a first Leading nomination.

    In Dev Patel news:

    http://www.theguardian.com/film/2022/aug/03/actor-dev-patel-breaks-up-fight-stabbing-south-australia-adelaide-cbd

Relevant because a) it’s Dev Patel and he is always relevant and b) he was on TV at some point.

    A bi-national treasure.

It seems to have divided Twitter, and we’re awaiting critical reaction (though I can see them really enjoying it), but for me Marriage shows exactly why Stefan Golaszewski is such a talented writer.

It’s so subtly crafted to allow the natural element breathe, whilst simultaneously peeling back the layers on the story – and history – of the central couple.

Sean Bean is awkward and a bit creepy yet brilliant while Nicola Walker can again do no wrong.
