Not too familiar with BAFTA rules so question for those who are. How is Bad Sisters eligible? Are the BAFTA awards for both British and Irish productions?
Its principal producer is Merman Productions which is UK based. Ever since BAFTA tweaked its eligibility rules to allow The Crown and The Night Manager in back in 2016 a show has had to have at least 50% of its production budget coming from the UK to be eligible for the series categories and since the rules were tweaked to allow Killing Eve and Patrick Melrose in back in 2019 a show has just had to be produced by a UK based production company.
ReplyCopy URLFYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

Evening Standard: 4/5
Guardian: 4/5
The Independent: 3/5
The Telegraph: 5/5Seems like a decent reception if not neccessarily as rapturous as It’s a Sin‘s was. Helena Bonham Carter is getting some very good notices across the board.

February 4, 2023 at 2:11 pm #1205284100Not exactly BAFTA related but hot damn, the public has really taken to The Traitors in any format
RATINGS: #TheTraitorsUS aired on BBC Three last week with a consolidated figure of 1.2 million viewers. That makes it BBC Three’s single most watched show since it launched on TV, more than all of #DragRaceUK
..and that’s NOT including iPlayer viewers who watched as a boxset. pic.twitter.com/i4QLEnD6gP

March 5, 2023 at 8:16 am #1205332952RTS are announcing their nominations on Tuesday.
They’ve added supporting male and female categories for the first time this year (both used to be combined with lead into two single actor and actress categories) so it will be interesting to see what results they come up with, especially seeing as they’re the body with the closest voting system to the BAFTAs due to being juried.
