More just apparent WGA strike impact:
May 25, 2023 at 11:09 am #1205441065I really want Phil Dunster to get a Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series nomination. He’s the only person credited main cast from season 1-2 who’s never had a nomination. The other 8 have had at least one.
Jamie Tartt is the MVP of this season.

May 25, 2023 at 1:12 pm #1205441221Women aren’t sitting around logging their views on imdb, sorry.
This is why I also mentioned tv time where the stats are abyssal there too. It has always been buzzless but not THAT buzzless. But if the great stans keep wanting to pretend it’s coming then fine!
May 25, 2023 at 1:15 pm #1205441232An actor’s popularity amongst voters is the strongest prognosticator over the series critical reception and viewership. When the Emmy’s like you they like you
Based on this logic we wouldnt have had Seehorn nominated last year over Fiona Shaw that got in 2 times before her

You keep saying this but I’m not noticing much of a difference from how it was doing on there from last season. I kept track for a month because I had nothing better to do (I was still shielding at home) and it wasn’t until its 4th or 5th week that it even hit 200 comments on TVTime for several of its episodes. I only just checked on there right now (I haven’t started the season yet) and most of its episodes have around 80 to 180 comments which I think is fine for a smaller show a couple of weeks after it has dropped as a binge? I feel like it’s a bit silly to say that the people who disagree with you are “stans wanting to pretend it is coming” when no one has said any such thing about the show.

Nothing is certain with that multi-camera slot (The Ms. Pat Show!) but I’m not really thinking of taking it out of my predictions at the same time at this point. I was considering That 90s Show because of Gail Mancuso being on the ballot but that show came and went with no fanfare and I think the restricted ballot probably hurts it because not only might voters be more resistant to name-checking and show-checking but I imagine there might be some older voters in the academy who are watching these multi-cams who would rather check off a revival of a vintage American sitcom that’s a network success story instead of a forgettable streaming sequel to That 70s Show.

dunno about cocomelon, but bluey is so deserved. Love watching that with my little cousins. Truly one of the greatest children’s programs ever.
