Not a total count because too many failed to follow the rules and literally just tick off one or two shows, but in general: Cardellini and Applegate as a pair, Abbott fans pick everyone, more OMITB and Wednesday supporting noms that the odds would suggest, like 75% of the voters were women under 25 outside the US, which is fine, but not reflective of voters, and this was notable in four or five people who overrepresented with men or older voters.
Also there were at least two versions of eight identical ballots which is….hmm.

Yes and no. Sheryl absolutely can win again for supporting without Abbott taking series- that’s already happened and may well again as we know now she’s an actor’s passion pick (honestly it would not surprise me if she became a Jim Parsons or Jeremy Piven type winning multiple Emmys without any other cast ever winning or a series win). However I can’t see Hannah winning here without Ted also taking series.

I’m not sure why – I think I am very meh on the writing and I really don’t think any of the episodes need to be that long. I also find Lyonne’s performance quite static which I guess is good for a procedural lead (comfort) but I don’t think it shows off much range. I understand why people might like it but I don’t think it’s for me and I think the reviews are overblown.

There’s been a lot of discussion around the new shows in the comedy series race and their buzz and how much their numbers online should be trusted (with review sites obviously offering different results depending on the demographics that are using them) so I thought it would be interesting to look at them through the Wikipedia page views metric that we looked at last year to see how many searches each of them have gotten from the start of the season to this point.
Wednesday: 12,359,037 page views
The Bear: 3,208,078 page views
Poker Face: 1,611,487 page views
Shrinking: 963,582 page viewsWednesday‘s numbers are almost akin to what The Queen’s Gambit received during this period two years ago whilst The Bear‘s performance is similar to what Only Murders in the Building had. What is interesting here though is Poker Face‘s tally. Compared to contenders from the comedy and drama sides last year (both returning and new) it is only 600,000 page views away from Severance‘s tally two weeks after its finale aired and is level with what a returning show like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (which was one of the better performing comedies in engagement at this point last season) had amassed. It also seems to have reached a similar peak at the start of its run to the one Ted Lasso currently seems to be enjoying right now as it is airing its season 3 episodes.
