The Handmaid’s Tale was a cultural phenomenon and smashed at the right time, other shows were not that fresh in voters mind and also THT felt way more relevant culturally than all of Stranger Things, This is Us, Westworld, etc.

Probably which is fine as Applegate is good and I will be happy for her. Cardellini was the better one for the majority of the show and especially season 3 though.
