Welcome to the last Blockbuster on Earth.
From the writers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Superstore and the creator of Happy Endings comes Blockbuster, a new comedy starring Randall Park and Melissa Fumero. Premieres November 3. pic.twitter.com/eW1NlI5Jce

October 7, 2022 at 10:16 am #1205110424They seem kind of……..in the middle with Blockbuster? They are neither burying it or super hyping it.
October 7, 2022 at 10:22 am #1205110438Not that it was happening anyway but Good Omens season 2 going to the Summer makes me wonder if Amazon has a strong Spring lead in up its sleeves (I’m assuming Maisel is going to February and The Boys is going to the Summer like they did this year)?
FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.
October 7, 2022 at 10:25 am #1205110447It’s obviously not happening but Cobra Kai being on top of LOTR and HOTD on this week’s Nielsen chart is a plot twist lol.

Not really, it’s just the way they calculate it – it’s a full season drop + four old seasons being calculated against 3 episodes
TRoPs hours are a bit higher than I thought interested to see if that’s just people watching the opener or it continues on.

It’s probably The Wheel of Time? they are doing a combined panel with The Rings of Power later today. Not likely to be any more competitive but I can see Prime wanting to give it one more go.
October 7, 2022 at 1:16 pm #1205110695The irony of Netflix making a show about Blockbuster lol.
FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.
October 9, 2022 at 2:40 pm #1205112792Just watched the Hiam Abbass’ focused Ed of this season on Ramy and I’m obsessed. She’s so deserving of a nod, shame the show it’s totally buzzless, this season has been great.
FYC:
The HBO darlings everywhere (The Last of Us, Succession, The White Lotus, Perry Mason, Somebody Somewhere, White House Plumbers, Love & Death);
The Apple gang (Bad Sisters, Slow Horses, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, Black Bird);
Poker Face, The Great, The Bear, Evil (especially Katja Herbers) and The Good Fight.Please! These gays, they're trying to murder me!
October 9, 2022 at 5:24 pm #1205112938I’ll second the Ramy love! I really like how the entire season came together, especially those last two episodes. I was impressed by Youssef in the finale, he made me finally understand his character’s aimlessness.
It felt like a final season, but I’m excited they are doing another one.
October 10, 2022 at 8:17 am #1205113464I have not seen any love for Reservation Dogs. It is phenomenally good. Just finished watching its 2nd season in entirety and it is slamming. I have never really seen a show like it before. Full of humor, pathos and such specific references to Native American culture. It leading kids are all great with a special shout out to Paulina Alexis (Willie Jack) and Lane Factor (Cheese). It 2nd season currently has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. And it won the Peabody Award this year. There has got to be room for it as series and several supporting divisions.

I think people who watch Reservation Dogs love it, but the fact it missed last year entirely (above and below the line) makes it a difficult one to predict with some confidence. I think if it backs up last years nominations again at Winter I’d be more confident.
October 10, 2022 at 9:32 am #1205113559Reservation Dogs is fantastic, I loved Season 1 but I felt like Season 2 improved on an already amazing show. I’m hoping come year end when it’s in the top 3 of every critic’s list it’ll get some awards next season
October 10, 2022 at 3:26 pm #1205114130Finished Ramy
Give Youssef and acting, writing and directing Emmy for the season (specially the finale).FYC:
The HBO darlings everywhere (The Last of Us, Succession, The White Lotus, Perry Mason, Somebody Somewhere, White House Plumbers, Love & Death);
The Apple gang (Bad Sisters, Slow Horses, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, Black Bird);

October 10, 2022 at 3:40 pm #1205114140Paulina Alexis (Willie Jack)
she should have already been nominated for the first season and would be very deserving for the second season as well. an ensemble nomination at SAG would be very cool and deserving!!!
October 10, 2022 at 3:49 pm #1205114151Decolonativization was a fantastic showcase for her, as was Stay Gold Cheesy Boy for Lane Factor. This season really gave everyone a chance to shine, all the main four deserve nominations.
