Apple TV now doing a top ten most watched and Bad Sister is number 2. So can’t be doing that bad.
I stopped watching and will eventually finish it. I just found Baes character so one note. I get it he was evil. The only thing needed was him having a mustache to twirl with how character is written.
October 2, 2022 at 3:42 pm #1205105151Bad Sisters is interesting. It’s got very good critics scores on RT and Metacritic but its audience score is around 57% / 6.7. So it seems it’s not being well received by or clicking with viewers.

Audience score didn’t change much since it has started airing .
But in IMDb it went from 7.6 in the first couple of weeks to 8.0 now .

Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic are also much more prone to being review bombed (when it comes to TV) than IMDB due to having a smaller sample size. Watchmen still has a 56% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes but has an 8.2 score on IMDB due to being voted on more broadly on the latter.
FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

I agree, especially when something is a little underseen.
Wolfali, is this BAFTA eligible? The total US votes on IMDB are sub 1000.

It should be just like Slow Horses and The Crown are.

October 3, 2022 at 7:14 am #1205105537I feel like it takes a lot for a British show to break through with Emmys/Globes, I feel like Bad Sister will definitely see more success with the BAFTAs, and possibly the TCA/Critics’ Choice awards.
October 3, 2022 at 10:52 am #1205105777A week of delayed viewing via Hulu, DVRs and other platforms has given a sizable ratings bump to the Season 2 premiere of “Abbott Elementary”
Live + Same Day data after the episode premiered on Sept. 21 pointed to a 0.6 rating among adults 18-49, but after seven days of multiplatform viewing, that number has jumped by 318% to a key demo rating of 2.38. This also marks the series’ largest-ever delayed viewing lift in terms of total viewers, which jumped from 2.9 million on premiere day to 7 million after one week.
FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

Honestly I agree, I keep putting on episode 2 and turning it off. I also couldn’t get into Catastrophe though.
October 3, 2022 at 3:42 pm #1205106058My main problem is that All the characters are awful . I stopped around 4. I will eventually catch up just to see how he died
October 3, 2022 at 11:16 pm #1205106411I am unwell and binged all episodes of Reboot and it’s the funniest show of the year. Laugh out loud hilarious with each cast member being on point. I’d hope for at least a writing nom

Yes, I think I agree with this especially in terms of comedy. It can happen, but it’s much more obvious it’s a thing. I’ve always really enjoyed Horgan, but I do find her voice/tone quite British in a way I find hard to articulate.
