    She’s actually really good on 9-1-1 so it would be deserved.

    FYC:
    The HBO darlings everywhere (The Last of Us, Succession, The White Lotus, Perry Mason, Somebody Somewhere, White House Plumbers, Love & Death);
    The Apple gang (Bad Sisters, Slow Horses, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, Black Bird);
    Poker Face, The Great, The Bear, Evil (especially Katja Herbers) and The Good Fight.

    Please! These gays, they're trying to murder me!

    Me getting conflicted over whether to have Seehorn in my predictions centre predictions or not seeing as every time I predict her she gets snubbed and every time I don’t she gets nominated…

    FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

    If this was the 2005 Emmys, both Basset and Love Hewitt would have trophies by now.

    LOL at Culkin over Macfadyen at the odds, it’s like Cox over Strong all over again.

    At least that one makes some sense because Cox actually is an Emmy winner. Culkin on the other hand…

    FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

    The superior boy ended him

    Matthew is now #1, some sense.

    As deserving as Bassett is for a nomination and win for 9-1-1, I don’t know if I genuinely see it happening, it seems more like a nomination/win that would easily happen in the aughts.  But I would be very pleasantly surprised if it comes to fruition! What I think is more realistic is her Oscar win (finally) opening up more doors for her to pursue more interesting projects that are really worthy of her talent. Let’s get her her own HBO limited series.

    To be fair, I don’t think there’s anything from Netflix that hasn’t already been announced yet so it’s probably more guessing than actually having confirmation. Like, I don’t think Bridgerton will be back in time and Bailey and Ashley certainly aren’t the leads again.

    Also this Bassett talk is nonsense. People always try it with recent Oscar nominees/winners but you have to actually be in a show that people watch, like, and care about lol.

    Angela happening for 9-1-1 would be amazing. But lets not forget Chastain just got snubbed for Scenes From a Marriage after winning the Oscar.

    I agree that most of the time, Oscar doesn’t translate to Emmy nominations, but this Bassett run for Black Panther is so surreal, rare and so attached to her name recognition rather than acclaim for the performance, that I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens.
