The way people gun for Cox in lead actor year after year, and yet he losses it every time. I don’t see him happening this time around as well.

I’m more hoping Cox wins than predicting it just like Laura Linney for Ozark both great roles with great performances that deserve to be awarded .

I could be wrong but I honestly don’t think Moss is happening. Season 5 is a tank with capital T. It was dropped by basically every single awards show and guild, and Moss has already been dropped before. It’s serving shut out.

She could serve Issa Rae tho. The latest season was a tank in winter after s4 overperformed ar Emmys (just like THT) and she still got in at Emmys.

I think Moss is more likely than D’Arcy.
But oh my god, the fact that we’re even considering both or 3 Yellowjackets actresses shows how weak this field is. Peacock was truly dumb, Lyonne could’ve even win here.

The tweet about s4 being Succession’s last has been deleted.
Jeremy Strong said in his QG interview that he wanted Kendall to finish “this season or potentially the series” doing something.
I think it will get s5 and that will be it’s last.

This years weakest category – lead actress in a drama – just got weaker. I wonder if there’s any chance Netflix can get The Diplomat ready for May? Even if it’s average, Keri Russell would stand a good chance of a nomination in this field.

They’d be dumb to not get it out in time if it’s ready. Staunton is their only other contender and she’s not looking like she’ll be win competitive.

Keri could even win if it’s good.

Insecure never really was a big player at the winter awards though and even when it under-performed for its final season it still managed to get things like a Globe nod for Rae (which it didn’t for season 4). Comparatively The Handmaid’s Tale has never missed at SAG (which Moss even made for season 3 in spite of missing at the Emmys), WGA, ADG, CDG and MPSE and was dropped by all five of them this year.

Netflix should have held off on Stranger Things. Ryder might have actually gotten in with this field.

They literally have one other show in the prediction centre outside of The Crown, they should bump up Debicki.

At this point, Netflix and HBO should really consider submitting Debicki, Coolidge and Snook in Lead.

if HBO keeps Coolidge in supp and submit Snook in lead they have a huge chance of winning all drama acting categories

At least one of these needs to happen.

    BCS should bump Rhea up.

Why? She didn’t even get nominated at SAG in spite of them nominating Banks or the Globes in spite of them nominating the show and she isn’t even in all of season 6B. She would be another Toni Collette in The Staircase at best in lead.

I think shows that have nothing to lose should probably consider bump ups – Interview With The Vampire bumping up Bailey Bass in a very white category comes to mind.
