I wonder if Justine Lupe could potentially come along for the Succession ride if Ruck happens. Especially if Snook did move to lead. I feel like Willa has more and more to do each season.

I would collapse out of joy if this happened. She’s so underrated.
Solidarity with the striking writers. Pay them the wages they are owed for bringing us the content we are all on here because of!

March 27, 2023 at 4:26 pm #1205366221Lupe should already be an Emmy nominee for Maisel. I hope she lands a substantial role in something high profile now that Succession and Maisel are done and they’ve increased her visibility.
Willa has also really grown on me. I died at her “that’s greedy, they have all the other percents” line in last nights episode. I don’t think Lupe has been deserving of any recognition for Succession, and I doubt she will be this season, but she’s definitely capable of delivering.
March 27, 2023 at 4:33 pm #1205366235With it being not too far from Australia I’m really manifesting even more now that Rachel Griffiths is in the cast for this season.

- The Last of UsMarch 27, 2023 at 7:43 pm #1205366490Having just watched the season premiere of Yellowjackets, it is really ridiculous to say that Christina Ricci has a different narrative prominence than Lynskey, Lewis, and Cypress. They should all be in the same category; in fact, so should their younger counterparts. This show is such an ensemble piece, it should either be those eight in lead, or just everyone in supporting.

i hate “across all platforms” numbers. you never know what their measure is exactly.

She/her team requested it last year.

Paramount’s tend to be on the moderate side (two million seems reasonable, if a bit safe, to me). HBOs are the weird ones. It’s possible they’re accounting for mobile and it’s much higher than you’d think, but if that’s the case there are some Netflix shows throwing some defies-logic numbers.

Yeah, I know. Still ridiculous (Debicki too)

I agree. She’s in it just as much as Lynskey, Lewis and Cypress. If they had to break it up, it should be adults in lead and the younger cast in supporting because there’s more of the latter so they only have so much screentime since they have to share it with more people.
