If Debicki, Ricci, Seehorn, and Snook all jump up to lead, I can only imagine the frenzy on these boards.
March 28, 2023 at 7:19 am #1205366992I feel like Jeremy Strong for this seasons seems like he’s pulling a minor back seat to Snook. Possible supporting actor or will he stay in lead ?
rooting for Snook tho, Shiv is such a slay in all the wrong ways

I feel like lead/supporting changes (or changing from drama to limited or whatever) are inevitable this year but they just need someone to start the domino rolling. This is such an unbalanced year for both drama and limited (meanwhile you have comedy actress categories bursting) and even a couple of subtle moves will change the whole competition

There is no way Strong will move to supporting.

it wouldn’t be smart because his nomination is guaranteed and they could be taking away Ruck’s chances of being nominated
also I don’t think he’ll take a back seat for the whole season
March 28, 2023 at 8:09 am #1205367048If this final season of Succession lives up to the hype, I can see them winning a few acting trophies at the Emmys. Throw in at least one guest category win, and it could be an historic haul for the HBO series.
March 28, 2023 at 8:30 am #1205367059It’s also still #1 on IMDb among shows despite Mandalorian, Ted Lasso etc. airing

March 28, 2023 at 8:54 am #1205367079It’s also smashing overseas, if I’m not mistaken I believe their numbers trump other HBO contemporaries like Succession, and The White Lotus.
Big in Europe Where HBO max is present still No 1 in most of Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, in Spain & Portugal, No 2 in France on Amazon (Sky will cover Uk, Germany, Italy).
No 1 in Thailand, Phillipines, Malaysia, Hong Kong
Succession is no 2 in most of these

Sabrina Impacciatore and Anne-Marie Duff when this happens:

Not really, it’s a horribly competitive tech year and It’s better for Picard BTL so they don’t compete against each other because anything that didn’t cost $20 mill+ an ep is going to struggle to get in.
