I swear if Seehorn gets pushed out I’m gonna lose it
October 6, 2022 at 11:40 am #1205108878Their acting has been so incredible, I’d love to see them get nominated. And we’re only two episodes in!

I just love how this trailer starts with “from the creators of Euphoria” like that’s a good thing LOL.

There was a rumor on Reddit a few days ago that reshoots of the series are still underway: https://www.reddit.com/r/Deuxmoi/comments/xqojow/the_idol_on_its_3rd_reshoot/
October 6, 2022 at 12:01 pm #1205108942Me begging HBO to keep The White Lotus in limited so Cooke and Seehorn can get nominated:
Unfortunately, I’m already preparing for the possibility that Olivia Cooke, Rhea Seehorn and Christina Ricci will be left out, as this time we will have the return of The Handmaid’s Tale, The Crown and Succession all at once.
October 6, 2022 at 12:07 pm #1205108965The GD article about TWL moving at SAG says that they will try to keep it in limited everywhere else. Globes, Critics and the Guilds (although we know DGA won’t go for it).
The Emmys already said they don’t care that Coolidge is returning so I’m assuming they will remain in Limited there.

I think Snook is safe , the crown will probably have one slot here but I think THT will be ignored this year .
October 6, 2022 at 12:18 pm #1205109003Yeah, if any of these are casualties it’s the Handmaid’s Tale. It got a bit of a resurgence for Season 4 but I think if one of them needs to be cut, it’s THT, it’s fully run out of steam at this point.
October 6, 2022 at 12:19 pm #1205109007Five episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale aired so far. The cast’s appearances, according to IMDB:
- Elisabeth Moss – 5 episodes
- Yvonne Strahovski – 5 episodes
- Samira Wiley – 5 episodes
- O-T Fagbenle – 4 episodes
- Madeline Brewer – 4 episodes
- Ann Dowd – 4 episodes
- Bradley Whitford – 4 episodes
- Max Minghella – 3 episodes
- McKenna Grace – 2 episodes
October 6, 2022 at 12:21 pm #1205109012I’m up to date on THT and only Yvonne Strahovski deserves a nom so far (I’m including Moss in lead in the list of non deservers too).

October 6, 2022 at 12:21 pm #1205109016This looks like one of those fake shows on Barry…
I’m not gonna lie. Rachel Sennott or Jennie making appearances on Barry is an absolute DREAM of mine. Especially the former. I almost feel bad for LRD because she’s so gonna get overshadowed by her and the rest of the supporting cast, lmao.
October 6, 2022 at 1:07 pm #1205109092The thing with The Handmaid’s Tale is if it isn’t even managing to catch much attention when the only other major dramas on the air are fantasy shows that not everyone is going to be watching, how is it going to fare when The White Lotus and The Crown start in a couple of weeks time? Or when The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, Succession and Yellowjackets air in the Spring? Better Call Saul finished airing two months ago and yet it’s still outperforming Handmaid’s in both online chatter and searches.
Honestly if it doesn’t manage to retain its slots at SAG I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up getting that Atlanta/Impeachment treatment where it just gets a sole acting nod and a couple of technical nods due to disparity in competition. This is the most competitive drama series field in years.
FYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.
October 6, 2022 at 6:43 pm #1205109413No idea where to post this, but I’m watching The Americans, and in this episode I just finished Dominique Fishback, Julia Garner, Katja Herbers, AND Karen Pittman all guest starred. Queens! Talk about amazing casting of relatively minor roles.
