Probably, that Globe nom for Thompson is the only the film has gotten that it wouldn’t already have if it kept as a TV Movie.

McCormack would also almost certainly be a contender.
Thompson also could have theoretically gotten a TV Globe nom too.

I have been wondering if that gets an Oscars (or Superbowl) trailer.

If the Elvis boy delivers the same bad performance again we won’t be rooting for it.

inb4 pundits predict them all season long, purely because of their nominations, even if they have as little screen-time/material as Metcalf in The Dropout.

Not just nominees, also-runs in contention as well, I was gagged seeing how publications put Balfe in their initial top tens for Outlander last year. Awakafina in 2020 for her Comedy Central sitcom as well.

I won’t be mad if they start pushing Colin for Sugar tho, like I need it.

January 24, 2023 at 10:49 am #1205263835The English is a small show with a big heart. Emily Blunt and Chaske Spencer give two of the performances of the year and Ciaran Hinds, Rafe Spall and Valerie Pachner are all incredible.

I just want to say my favourite female performance in a supporting role in that show actually was Kimberly Guerrero. And while I totally get why Black Eyed Mog made such a big impression on most viewers, Katie was my favourite villainess in the show. Her reaction when Cornelia offered to pay for a family to take Rachel and the baby in in episode 2 and her last scene in episode 3 were top notch acting.
January 24, 2023 at 4:50 pm #1205265042So, in my dream world, that show would get not one, but two native american actors Emmy nominations.
