“Me-Time” of Fleishman is in Trouble was truly a masterpiece. Danes’ acting was superb.  She comes for blood in this new episode.

    She’s incoming for her Emmy.

I still preferred Caplan in last weeks episode to Danes in this one. She’s a bit inconsistent for me when she goes for broke like she did here. She had high highs but it ultimately didn’t fully work for me.

I also thought last weeks episode as a whole was better too, but it was very interesting to finally see things from Rachel’s POV.

I know the White Lotus ladies are going to be probably remembered but WOW Claire Danes in this week episode should win everything for Fleishman.

I was honestly deeply shocked when Claire Danes was the one getting the hype and awards while watching Fleishman Is In Trouble at first, as I thought Lizzy Caplan was such a captivating presence on the show and it felt criminal to overlook her for what I thought was a namecheck? But WOW, Claire Danes absolutely blew me away in this episode. It’s a shame that I’m already firmly team Fahy in Limited Supporting Actress, but I was really close to being swayed with her material! Definitely hope she gets an Emmy nod (although I am still hoping Caplan gets love for this show too, she was incredible in the last 2 episodes).

    FYC:
Succession, Industry, Ted Lasso, Dead to Me, and Fleishman Is in Trouble in all categories!

trouble being an underwatched hulu show dents the awards chances, but perhaps that will change.

Is all the light we cannot see not coming out this cycle, because why has nobody mentioned it in the entirety of these three pages?

Fleishman really dropped the bomb this week. This week’s episode not only features an unforgettable Claire Danes performance that simply has to be Emmy-winning, but it illuminated the entire previous six episodes and made them better. Very impressive all-around. Acting, writing, directing, you name it. Lots of awards potential but Danes is non-negotiable.

Yeah, I’ve been seeing a lot of major publications hype up Fleishman after its most recent episode.

I watched the premiere and even if I found it just fine, it definitely had potential. Not a fan of Eisenberg in general so I dropped out but might have to continue now with this level of praise.

A Negroni. Sbagliato. With Prosecco in it.

I loooove Fleishman but idk, it’s too underseen still.
We’ll see how it does at the Guilds, i feel like it needs a nod somewhere just like Station Eleven got in at DGA.

It probably is, a Netflix executive hyped it up in a recent interview talking about 2023 titles.

It feels prime for WGA and USC Scripter noms.

Yep, or Danes needs to win one of the awards she’s nominated for or get in at SAG or something.

I was looking back in history for fun.

Apparently this century, this year was the only time a genre’s supporting nominees came from just 3 shows (with one taking only one of those spots). The Dope Lotus lineup is even more eye raising than I thought; I wonder if they would have kept the unlimited ballot if it wasn’t for that.

(I was a bit surprised given how many spots Modern Family and Sopranos/West Wing took up that never happened with those years.)
