It’s great to see a solid number of TV Movie submissions.

Please Television Academy, give Eva Green a nomination

criminally overlooked. still seething her performance in PD didn’t gain more traction

I’m surprised Ripley is a limited series considering Patricia Highsmith has written five books with the character.

Deadline mentions more seasons can be made if successful.

I know this is an unpopular opinion but I think the limited series category is shaping up to be fairly strong,

I’m expecting Masters of the Air to make the cut as Apple’s big push with Black Bird as their number 2.

HBO/HBO Max are looking pretty stacked with White House Plumbers, Love & Death and Full Circle

Anazon have an embarrassment of riches in the lead actress category with Emily Blunt (The English), Rachel Weisz (Dead Ringers) and Riley Keough fronting what will probably prove a big audience hit in Daisy Jones & The Six

FX/Hulu have a very solid slate with The Patient and Fleishman Is in Trouble

Disney+/MCU shows generally aren’t great but Secret Invasion at least has a pretty strong cast

Is Tiny Beautiful Things a limited series? I think I did read somewhere it was continuing.

Interesting that they’re dropping all at once, the new Pistol? I hope not, Hahn deserves another nom at least.

Pistol was on the last day of eligibility. I think it’s better when it’s two months out

And a few Amazon additions for limited series and TV Movie:

    SHOTGUN WEDDING (Amazon) – MOVIE
    Actor: Jennifer Lopez
    Actress: Josh Duhamel
    Supporting Actor:
    Supporting Actress: Jennifer Coolidge

Coolidge was great in this, wouldn’t mind if the overall love for her slipped over to a nom.

Didn’t know it was dated already, April seems good enough.

Could we get Evan Rachel Wood in the predictions centre for Weird : The Al Yankovic Story please? I’m sure she stands more of a chance than Anna Pacquin lol.

Solidarity with the striking writers. Pay them the wages they are owed for bringing us the content we are all on here because of!

I think it’s fine in this case. I think some of those Hulu programs recently are suffering from the opposite problem (slow build), so a full drop might work.

Making my way through Fleishman, and Claire Danes is just fantastic in this. Such a complicated character, but the performance is such a wonderful balancing act. Haven’t seen a ton of limited series this cycle (and I refuse to watch Dahmer), but I’d be very happy to see her win.

FYC: Bad Sisters (Anne-Marie Duff) Cunk on Earth (Diane Morgan), Fleishman Is in Trouble (Lizzy Caplan/Claire Danes), Industry (Marisa Abela/Myha'la Herrold), Physical (Rose Byrne), Poker Face (Ellen Barkin/Joseph Gordon-Levitt/Chloë Sevigny), The White Lotus (Sabrina Impacciatore)
