No matter how you feel about Headey, I think we all can agree that Julia did not deserve THREE different wins. Especially the year she beat Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Snook, and fucking Meryl Streep.

A lot of these multi winners can feel excessive though. I wouldn’t really say Dinklage’s performance warranted any more than 2 wins either.

At least with Dinklage, he was the only cast member nominated for a while. He was the most baity part of the show for years. Garner was winning in supporting in years that Bateman and Linney could’ve easily taken Lead wins and lost. I will never understand how the odds were in her favor that many times in a row.

Streep and Bonham Carter didn’t deserve it for those roles, snook would have been fine but Garner dominated as Ruth. The show never grows to the level it does without her. I don’t agree with the system continually awarding the same people but if they do, Garner was definitely one who was worthy. She is a great actress.

Solidarity with the striking writers. Pay them the wages they are owed for bringing us the content we are all on here because of!

I don’t even know why we’re talking about it in the Limited thread but whatever
Julia Garner’s win for s3 was terrible, she barely does anything that season, I’m okay with her winning for 2 and I could understand her winning for 4 even though there were better nominees but s3 was overkill.

He’s convincing in the role and the character is written really well, but none of the material falls outside of Eisenberg’s comfort zone (unless the finale changes things). Of the three ‘leads’ of the show, I find him the weakest, but still good.

Serious question, with White House Plumbers coming back, should we expect a trailer tonight or tomorrow if it’s happening?

I just realized that Jessica Chastain can have the triple crown of acting this year. She could win an Emmy with George and Tammy and win a Tony with a play in Broadway she’s doing right now.

That would mean she won the triple crown in the span of 1.5 year. Has anybody ever won in a shorter period? I know Bob Fosse won an Emmy, an Oscar, and a Tony in the same year, but that was for directing, I think.
