Not gonna lie, after a few years of mega sweeps, it’ll be nice if the two supporting winners end up being their shows only (or one of a handful of their) overall nomination, including both Primetime and Creative Arts.

I quite agree Victor…

I don’t want Peters to win, and I do think he’s quite vulnerable after losing SAG, but I’m just not sure who he would lose to. I can’t see it happening for Egerton, Radcliffe, or Carell, and any of the other summer/fall contenders would just be lucky to be nominated.

The only person I could potentially see overcoming him would be Woody Harrelson, but my faith in White House Plumbers’ quality grows lower and lower with each passing day. Maybe Plemons? But he feels like he’ll be the Toni Collette to Elizabeth Olsen’s Colin Firth.

I think Peters can be “stopped”(even if I found his performance  haunting in a good way) by  a contender coming from a best series nominated show, something  I am pretty sure Dahmer  will not be.

I don’t think it’s going to happen, but Daniel Radcliffe is such a well liked and popular actor who has somewhat surprisingly NEVER gotten a big awards show moment, and his performance will be so different from the other nominees (assuming he gets nominated) that if anyone will have a chance to win for a TV movie it might be him. He did surprise us with that critics choice win so that’s not nothing.

White House Plumbers and Full Circle are the only major contenders yet to announce their release date, right? If they don’t announce it in the first week of April, I doubt they will be released this cycle.

perhaps expand your thinking. Chastain has been in the industry for 10 years and has made over 50 films 3 oscar nominations shes doing theater and tv now. I mean scenes from a marriage should settle that she is the best actress of her generation. Her range is endless and its understandable that it makes some people upset.
