It’s a bit of a shame that Danes isn’t sweeping here. It’s such a slam dunk but at this point, I think the nomination will be the reward and Nash will take it. Don’t get me wrong – I’m a fan of Nash (Getting On!) – but it’s not in the same realm as to what Danes achieved.

Normally I would say Danes track record at the emmy’s means she’s probably taking it (3 wins out of 7 nominations), but it feels like Nash has been slowly building up to finally getting her first win (3 nominations in less than 10 years) and for the first time she’s on a really big, popular show, so it just feels like the cards are falling into place for this to be her year.

Dead Ringers is actually in competition at Canneseries (other US shows are out of competition). I think this suggests a lot of confidence.

Dead Ringers is one of the potential contenders I have high hopes for, I’d love to see Weisz come through and win.

She’s really visible period, I believe she’s going to be on drama, limited and comedy ballots (in lead, supporting, and guest) this year.

Yeah, Nash should already have an acting Emmy because I think she’s just consistently wonderful, but it’s somewhat a shame it’ll be for…that show.

Speaking of Danes, I still need to check out her show.

Happy to be unpopular with this opinion, but I genuinely don’t understand the belief both supporting categories are looking weak!

Danes, Greer, Headey, Nash, Rabe, Wever for me would be the strongest line-up  in at least 3 years…

4/6 of those actresses have not even had their show premiere yet…

FYC: Bad Sisters (Anne-Marie Duff) Cunk on Earth (Diane Morgan), Fleishman Is in Trouble (Lizzy Caplan/Claire Danes), Industry (Marisa Abela/Myha'la Herrold), Physical (Rose Byrne), Poker Face (Ellen Barkin/Joseph Gordon-Levitt/Chloë Sevigny), The White Lotus (Sabrina Impacciatore)

Yes Rachel Weisz storming this race would be awsome. For sure the role is juicy.

Dead Ringers looks so good, can’t wait for it. Weisz role(s) sounds like a potential sweeper imo

I just can’t imagine Weisz pulling off the split roles as well as Tatiana Maslany who did it so so well. Happy to be wrong though and see my fellow Brit get a nom

I had a big grin throughout this trailer, it looks SOO good (or maybe just very my thing). Damn I hope it’s good.

Fun fact! If Weisz were to win both the Emmy and the TV BAFTA for this performance she’d only be a Tony away from becoming the second person ever to win both the British and American Triple Crown (only Helen Mirren has won both).

Solidarity with the striking writers. Pay them the wages they are owed for bringing us the content we are all on here because of!
