I wish The White Lotus was allowed to stay in these categories since it’s such a weak field. I also get that it doesn’t meet the current Emmy rules but I personally would like to see the rules change because White Lotus really is an anthology series even with the whole Jennifer Coolidge of it all. I know that’s probably a minority opinion.

When she gets nominated for a tony and everyone pushes for her to get egot then theres no stopping her. Jessica did similar show for hbo her performance was amazing but hbo cant campaign so olsen isnt winning emily lost sag to Jessica theres quite literally no one else stopping the juliard graduate.

Not sure about a second season, but I would watch a spin-off about Simone and Bernie in the disco era in a heartbeat.

I wouldn’t go this far. I feel quite certain in saying of all the films and television shows which got SAG wins this year, ‘George and Tammy’ was the least watched. So, it has already happened once.
I don’t have any doubt she’ll campaign like crazy especially after the SAG win (which has at least secured the Emmy nomination), but she better pray none of the remaining shows with an actress in a leading role is a massive hit or she’ll lose and it won’t even be close.

I think what helps a lot Elizabeth is that she is the only contender they have in her category and that unlike last year Hbo has only two limited series to campaign for(Love and Death and The White House Plumber). They will campaing HARD for her and the show
Obviously George and Tammy wasnt made to relate to the younger gens its made for older audiences which include emmy voters who will find it more interesting. Jessica is an Oscar winning actress while elizabeth only does marvel shows. Don’t underestimate Jessica just because you personally didnt like the show.
Well at least Elizabeth Olsen got an Emmy nomination for one of “those Marvel shows”.
