I can definitely see the advantage to Olsen being HBO’s sole concern in her category.
Amazon have a lot to juggle if they’re going to campaign all four of Dominique Fishback, Rachel Weisz, Emily Blunt, Riley Keough.
Whereas HBO have a lot of options everywhere but lead actress:
Lead Actress; Elizabeth Olsen
Lead Actor; Woody Harrelson, Justin Theroux, Jesse Plemons
Supporting Actress; Lena Headey, Judy Greer, Kathleen Turner, Kiernan Shipka, Lily Rabe, Krysten Ritter
Supporting Actor: Domhnall Gleeson, Ike Barinholtz, Yul Vázquez, David Krumholtz Patrick Fugit, Tom Pelphrey
So it’s easy to see how Olsen could end up winning if her performance lives up to the early hype.
Kathryn Hahn feels like the dark horse contender right now and I’m not writing her off (or Merritt Wever in supporting).

With this weak field it could’ve swept, with even Jesse Eisenberg winning in Lead. Caplan and Brody are long shots (and I definitely don’t think Adam Brody’s that deserving), but this is one of the few years I wouldn’t mind a show like Fleishman doing a clean sweep.

The white lotus isn’t even competing in limited and Olsen is their only priority. HBO does wonders in the limited field.

She was robbed for Judas and The Black Messiah, I’ll watch Swarm just for her.
She was also very good in The Least Days of Ptolemy Grey last year but only 1 people watched that.ReplyCopy URLFYC:

March 18, 2023 at 2:58 pm #1205356534I know it already seems obvious at this point, but Masters Of The Air will not be airing in this Emmy cycle.
‘Masters of the Air’ starring Austin Butler, Barry Keoghan and Callum Turner won’t release before May 31, making it ineligible for the upcoming Emmy season.

March 18, 2023 at 3:01 pm #1205356542Daisy Jones, whilst overall a very good show, is up and down at times but Amazon should be putting everything behind Keough who carries the show to its greatest heights.

Her performance in episode 8 is immense and her tape for that episode stands toe to toe with any of her peers.
She will no doubt again be overlooked against bigger names but this has long been the case. She should have won the golden globe for the nuanced performance in the GFE and she was criminally overlooked for an Oscar nod for Zola. Her career portfolio of characters regardless of screen time length is pretty spectacular when you examine it.March 18, 2023 at 3:16 pm #1205356554She was fine on episode 8, not all of that.
In my opinion of course.ReplyCopy URLFYC:

March 18, 2023 at 3:34 pm #1205356560Yeah she’s not that good tbh. Like she’s fine, but definitely nowhere near as good as the other contenders. Sam Claflin deserves way more than her.

we can all agree when it does release though it’s winning right

Not when they are coming to sweep for Feud season 2.

I’m guessing maybe around early August or later on in November, since all three of Butler, Keoghan and Turner will have films playing the festival circuit / general release during September and October studios have been good recently and scheduling around their main talents promotion around their other similarly timed projects.

It is good to get confirmation.
