Yes, I think she is a possibility for sure.  I agree with you guys, too, that Mavel Toz, Dummies would probably be her best submission.  She’s great in it, some very funny moments, and it’s not like it has no emotion.  Also, tend to agree about both Lena Dunham and Zooey Deschanel.  Dunham is fine but I’ve never thought of her acting as being anything spectacular and there are clearly other females in this category outdoing her.  Deschanel has her moments, but New Girl seems to mostly require her playing a persona that’s become her real life brand.

That Rural Juror song…This show ended perfectly and I have the feeling people are going to be writing articles about its impact in the future, not that they haven’t already. For anyone who is interested, variety got the lyrics to the Rural Juror song:

    The Irma Luhrman-Merman murder
    Turned the bird’s word lurid
The whir and the purr of a twirler girl
She would the world were demurer
    The insurer’s allure
For valor were pure Kari Wuhrer
One fervid whirl over her turgid error
    Rural juror
    Rural juror
    I will never forget you
    Rural juror
I’ll always be glad I met you
    Rural juror

    I will never forget you
    Rural juror
I’ll always be glad I met you
    Rural juror (x2)
These were the best days of my flerm.

That’s what I was thinking. It just might. Jeff Richmond has always been popular with the Academy. If he doesn’t get nominated for Song, he’ll at least get a nom for the score.

Yeah, the green screen in that scene with Tina and Conan was absolutely awful. I couldn’t even pay attention to the dialogue because it all looked ridiculously fake. Like why were they both on green screen? Couldn’t have one of them actually been on an elevator backdrop?

    DADDY, PLEASE STOP CRYING!

Jane Krakowski was golden last night. It’s a shame she hasn’t won an Emmy yet. They better make it up to her and give her a farewell Emmy, a la Megan Mullally. (Although, Mullally already won once before the farewell Emmy.)

I finished the second season of this show.

Back in 2008 they got 4 out 5 nominations in the guest actor category. Three of them were underserving (Rip Torn, Steve Buscemi and Tim Conway), the only deserving was Will Arnett. My question is: how on earth did David Schwimmer missed a nomination (and even a win in this terrible category) for 30 Rock? He was definetely the best out of the 5.

Currently I’m watching season 3 and Elaine Stritck was name-checked. Megan Mullally and Oprah Winfrey were more deserving. Loved Jennifer Aniston’s appearance.

It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!

Those were back when they used panels for the nominations too, albeit you had to make the top ten in the popular vote first.

Oprah Winfrey literally did nothing in her appearance.

Yeah, some of the guests nominated are weird, but no comes close to the Guest nomination that GoldDerby gave to Kristen Wiig, who was on the screen for like 10 seconds.
