Honestly starting to wonder if he has a better shot for Loki than I had assumed.
Maybe he did it more for Essex Serpent?

The push has been basically all for Loki and the show is much, much better viewed and received than Essex Serpent. Heck, even the THR article for the roundtable refers to him as Loki’s Tom Hiddleston (versus Oscar Isaac being referred to as “Scenes from a Marriage and Moon Knight star”). I have to re-read it to be sure, but I don’t think Essex Serpent was brought up a single time, lol.

June 8, 2022 at 4:51 am #1204975749I’m ambivalent on Loki when it comes to these acting categories after its SAG shut out but between both Hiddleston and Disney’s campaigning, the critical love, its strong guild performance I am becoming increasingly tempted to slot it into series.
Basically everything Loki in the prediction centre is too low. I don’t know that I’ll predict it but it’s the show that could happen ala The Mandalorian easily.

Even if it doesn’t get in I don’t think it’s out of the top 15 in that category. I have it 9th.

Yeah, I was thinking similar. I think we all know it’s not top 5, but whether it’s, say, 7th or 12th is a bit less clear.

Don’t think it’s a roundtable, they each have separate interviews in the most recent The Wrap magazine.
