So the answer is C section…..ok. Let down a bit. Anyways, this episode was VERY Meh. Maimie and the alien got it on…..weird twist. My grade: BOctober 14, 2021 at 10:29 am #1204518720
Love alternative history, but not when it’s done this haphazardly and crassly. I guess the alien births had a macabre charm to them, but other than that, let’s just hope the season finale ties all of this nonsense together. The previews implied that the successful hybrid birth would occur “sometime in 2021,” soooo, it’s one of the college kids that accomplishes this? Or as a longshot, it’ll somehow tie into “Red Tide.” Fingers crossed.October 14, 2021 at 1:15 pm #1204518996
This episode killed any chances of this back half being any good. So pointless and unnecessary. The present day scenes were a chore to watch. Ridiculous writing.October 20, 2021 at 12:48 pm #1204528614

I’ll just forget this finale and the existence of this season. See y’all for another trainwreck when S11 airs.October 21, 2021 at 3:47 am #1204529610
“Death Valey” is one of the worst things I’ve seen this year.October 21, 2021 at 3:48 am #1204529612
This season started off so well and descended into something I am quite frankly embarrassed to have watched until the end. I just know that FX regrets renewing this for at least three more seasons.October 21, 2021 at 4:00 am #1204529622
I haven’t seen the last episodes and I will not watch it.
Death Valley was absolutely the worst season ever of AHS.
After a great season like Red Tide… it was so unnecessary…

THIS ENDING….ugh. Should have stuck with the vampires. My grade: C+October 21, 2021 at 12:11 pm #1204530569
That finale was all over the place. They never explained the purpose of the alien treaty stuff. The concept was really wasted.

Just wanna clarify why I gave it a c+ and not a C. Sarah Paulson as Maime was fire in this episode and elevated the crappy script making it a C+October 21, 2021 at 5:34 pm #1204531249
Death Valley was horrifically bad, so much so that it’s left a bad taste in my mouth for the entirety of Double Feature. I don’t see any nominations for this show happening, which is a shame because some of the performances in Red Tide were leagues better than the one’s in Impeachment.October 22, 2021 at 9:16 am #1204532254
“Red Tide” was pretty inventive and awesome. As a stand-alone, that was fine, and I think it could have stopped at that point. The iconic pairing of Frances Conroy and Evan Peters was unmatched this season, and I loved seeing Angelica Ross get such prominent screentime in both installments. “Death Valley” was so bizarre, tacked-on, and unnecessary. I’ll give slight credit to the alternative history scenes with Neal McDonough and Sarah Paulson. I wouldn’t have minded seeing a separate limited series on the Eisenhowers, since I know little about them. They aren’t given the kind of coverage like the power couples of the past, like the Kennedys, Johnsons, or Roosevelts. That was such a bad take on Nixon though, and the sustained awfulness of the present-day scenes with the college “kids,” whatever. Mixed bag overall, but if only the first part was presented in a shortened season, the reception would have been much more positive.October 26, 2021 at 9:11 pm #1204542267
The show has reached a new low with the second embarrassing half of the season, it felt totally pointless, all over the place, not to mention trash.
This needs to be cancelled or fire all the people involved and hire a totally new team, not to mention new faces for the show, valid ones and not some Instagram models like Kaia Gerber.October 29, 2021 at 9:38 pm #1204547960

They could theoretically push for Red Tide exclusively, correct? Maybe not for the whole season, but surely for individual episodes and performances. Not now
