Anyone watching this? I saw both episodes last night. The first one was OK, the second one was really bad. McCormick was good in the role, but I don’t understand Ryan Murphy’s obsession with Murder House. Bring something new, man. I hope they use this spin-off to create new things and take risks.
What’s worse is that the last episode of this season is going to be about Murder House as well.July 21, 2021 at 8:27 am #1204355963
Liked both episodes a lot sorry ksks
But I’m not the best person to talk about this since I believe AHS never had a bad season.

Yeah I agree. I was excited about the idea of this spin off and thought it was a perfect way to explore things they couldn’t in the original show but the first episodes served money grabbing fan fiction realness. Not mentioning the Z list cast, you would think “big” names would agree to do an episode of this rather than a full season (thinking about Angela Bassett for example) but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Maybe the other episodes will seduce me…July 21, 2021 at 10:14 am #1204356162
I love the murder house but that was kinda meh for me. Also who would keep selling that house?!July 22, 2021 at 7:49 am #1204357647
So far, to me at least, this comes across as if Ryan Murphy is trying to relive the glory days of early AHS (maybe because his Netflix projects tend to flop with critics and/or viewers whereas on FX he’s safe ratings-wise at least) but it just isn’t working. The entire show would be SO much better if we saw beloved cast members return over Z list teen drama stars or nepotism babies that can’t act.July 26, 2021 at 5:14 pm #1204364573
The third episode is worse than the first two. The couple found the villain so quickly. The drive-in sequences are SOOO short. You can’t even appreciate the suspense, plus the actor who plays the boy didn’t have his best performance. The only thing I can praise is the openness. I’m really disappointed, but I’m going to watch the next few episodes because… I hate myself?July 26, 2021 at 5:37 pm #1204364622
This week’s episode was downright terrible. So so silly, everything was so clichéd. I really did not like it and I thought the first two installments were fine.

I kinda LOVED the third one. It reminded me of a a certain episode of a tv show that documents real life hauntings and whatnot. Long story short: haunted and now closed forever becuase people were getting attacked at the place.July 27, 2021 at 9:25 pm #1204367109
I was mixed on the first two. I thought there were good performances but a so-so story. I thought the third episode was dreadful. The concept was good but the execution was absolutely terrible.

Well… this is very disappointing.
The first two were pretty decent.
The other too… not good. Watchable but not good.August 6, 2021 at 1:32 pm #1204384574
Well, this week episode was the best one. IMDB users agree with me its the top/most rated episode.
All episode should had a story like this. Great performances.
A few problems with the script, some dialogues were “lazy”, but overall a great episode.
Billie Lourd was amazinge.August 6, 2021 at 1:52 pm #1204384624
I’ve had zero interest in this series but Billie Lourd trending on Twitter made me excitedAugust 6, 2021 at 2:05 pm #1204384651
Episode 3 and Episode 4 were such a mess! And not because they did anything absurd or something, but because the stakes were so low.
The feeling I had watching these two installments was that the writers don’t seem to have any passion whatsoever while writing this. Lazy is the perfect word to sum this all up.

What is this? If it weren’t for this site I wouldn’t have heard of it…this franchise has become so irrelevant in UK. I remember when it used to be so popular but Netflix still hasn’t picked up 1984 despite all the other series being available a year after US premier…
