Are there “that many” Television Academy members here?

I keep getting For Your Consideration ads on this site. However, when I click on one, it takes me to the Emmy Portal Login, which is open only to members. Are there that many Academy members here that having targeted ads here makes sense?

Yes and anecdotally, showrunners, executives and other voters are lurking here (more than might make me comfortable); this was the impetus for going back to my “thedemonhog” handle, so that I can have some anonymity and hopefully not have my editors fielding complaints about my posts.

nnn I think about this quite often. They see the mess we argue about here because everyone in the industry knows of this site. I think a lot read the articles but I wonder how many actually lurk the forums and watch the slugfests.

I recall Sarah Paulson mentioning that she checked predictions during a Q&A. It was about how GD told her she would win for Asylum but she ended up not winning (which was ridiculous because winning for People vs OJ should have been Paulson’s third career win after Asylum and Freak Show).
